Mobile Applications Surpasses Desktop and Mobile Web Consumption
According to a today’s report by Flurry, Mobile Applications officially surpasses Desktop and Mobile Web Consumption.
With the usage of smart phone are on the increase, this is the should-be trend. I-phones, I-pads and tablets have been used widely by the young to access the Internet from everywhere such as at cafeteria, at coffee shop, ect. Desktop and laptop are used only at office and home. Flurry report also pointed out that in 2011, for the first time, “smartphone and tablet shipments exceed those of desktop and notebook shipments”.
What are Mobile Applications used for?
Also according to the report, Games and Social Networking Dominate Mobile Applications Usage. 47% users uses Mobile Applications for playing games while 32% users logging on Social Networks with mobile phones.
